A dusty highway, an horizon full of dreams. The grass is always greener on the other side - at least before the dullness of real life starts inter-fering with the traveller‘s thirst for adventure. But travelling or not, there are countless ways to be stranded - in the past, in motel rooms, minimum wage jobs, at a Texaco gas station, in school, in a rent-controlled apartment in a gentrified neighborhood in San Francisco, on a roadtrip in the middle of nowhere fighting with a partner, on an awkward date in Tel Aviv, without money or recognition.

Little Rock Arkansas and Atlanta Athens have teamed up to share some of those tales with you, personal ones and those of others. Hop on the train and spend a night with them listening to stories and songs of life, loss, and love.

An einer Tankstelle im mittleren Westen der USA, im Park mit einem heißen aber merkwürdigen Date, in der Erinnerung, femmephobischen Umgebungen, den Häusern fremder Menschen: Es gibt die unterschiedlichsten Orte und Situationen, an/in denen man gestrandet sein kann. Doch Stranden, ob unvermeidliches oder mitverantwortetes, bedeutet oft auch Schaltstellen zu passieren, sich neu einzustellen – in den Verbindungen zu anderen wie zu sich selbst.

In einem Programm aus Storytelling und Musik wollen Little Rock Arkansas und Atlanta Athens Euch heute abend mit auf die Reise nehmen und eine Reihe von Geschichten über das Stranden mit Euch teilen.
